Dogwood Brewing

Dogwood Brewing is (at present) Vancouver’s only organic brewery, sourcing 90% of their ingredients from local producers.  Brewmaster Claire’s goal is to create beers that are packed with flavour but still sessionable.  Claire also does everything possible to remain true to her passions of staying local and reducing her environmental footprint.

The tasting room at Dogwood Brewing is bright and open, with long tables and benches for seating.  They have recently begun having board games nights and other events to get people into the tasting room and creating more of a community feel.

You’ll always find Dogwood Brewing’s four mainstays on tap in the tasting room.  In addition to these flagship beers, expect to discover at least one seasonal offering if not more.  Naturally you can take home their brews in your growler but should you forget to bring one, you can freely pick up one of their six pack boxes.

Although Dogwood Brewing is in the Sunset neighbourhood in South Vancouver, it is still easily accessible by transit and well worth a visit.  Don’t forget to grab a freshly prepared pizza from Rocky Mountain Flatbread while you’re there since we all know that Pizza and Beer are a match made in heaven.
