Brassneck Brewery

Brassneck Brewery is one of the first breweries that opened in Vancouver during the current craft beer boom.  The brewery is a popular spot for locals in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood.

The brewery’s tasting room is unique, melding concrete with raw hewn wood, and offering something different from any other tasting lounge in the city.  Benches and tables are often shared with other patrons as space is at a premium especially during peak hours.

It’s likely that you’ll visit and find that there is much more beer available in the tasting room than is on offer for growler fills.  The beer list changes on a daily basis depending upon what they have to hand.  Brassneck Brewery moves through its beer rather quickly so aside from their mainstays you may not see the same beer on tap twice.  But don’t worry, your favourite beer will likely return in a slightly different form, usually with the addition of a different hop.

Snacks are limited to local pepperoni, jerky, and pastries, but these are incredibly tasty and well worth pairing with your beer.  On weekends and some warm weekday evenings expect to see a food truck parked outside selling additional delicious food that you can eat inside the brewery.
