Strathcona Beer Company

Strathcona Beer Company is one of Vancouver’s newer breweries and opened their doors in the summer of 2016.  The brewery has a focus on sessionable beers that are both flavourful and easy to drink.

The tasting lounge at Strathcona Beer Company is bright and minimalist, with plenty of concrete, white accents, and large south-facing windows that let in plenty of light regardless of the weather.  For seating, guests are treated with booths, bar seating, and two long tables they can share with other patrons.

One of Strathcona Beer Company’s claims to fame is their delicious Neapolitan style pizza, made fresh in house.  With a number of veggie and meat options available, as well as salads and appetizers, there’s surely something on the menu to please even the most discerning palate.

The lounge overlooks the brewery and guests can sit at the bar and watch the brewers in action.  Be sure to grab some of their award winning British IPA if you’re looking for something stronger.  If not, their Pilsner or Vienna Lager are also well-crafted and delicious.
