Steel & Oak Brewing Company

Using a mixture of North American, English and German brewing styles, techniques and ingredients, Steel & Oak explores new beer styles while constantly refining and perfecting the classics.  Their offerings and styles are constantly evolving as they experiment with new brew options.

Steel & Oak provides guests with a cozy tasting room that is always filled with great tunes from their hefty collection of records behind the bar.  Currently their tasting room is fairly small and at peak times is one of the few places in New Westminster with a queue out the door.  The brewery is planning on expanding the tasting lounge to accommodate demand and has already put in their application.

Expect a rotating selection of Steel & Oak’s flagship beers when you visit the brewery, as well as one or two of their seasonal or one-off brews.  They offer a small cooler for off-sales as well if you forgot your growler so you’ll be in luck to take some of their great beers away with you.

If you’re coming from outside of New West to visit Steel & Oak, they are a nice 20 minute walk along the river from the New Westminster Skytrain Station.
