102 The Peak Battle of the Brews Fest

The Peak Battle of the Brews Fest

Coming up this Saturday, August 19th The Peak radio station is putting on their own beer festivals outside of Surrey City Hall between 2pm and 5pm.   Hosts James Sutton and Casey-Jo Loos host their Beer Club Friday afternoons on air so they’re no strangers to the craft scene.  In typical Peak style, the proceeds of Battle of the Brews go to youth initiatives through Athletics for Kids and the Surrey Firefighters Charitable Society.  Not only is your ticket going to help worthy causes, but there will be no tokens for food and drinks.   That’s right, no tokens!  Your entry ticket covers all your food and beer samples for the afternoon making this festival one-of-a-kind.  Tickets for the event are $60, and Peak VIP members get theirs for $45.  Get your tickets today.

Tickets still available for the 25th Annual Great Canadian Beer Fest

Great Canadian Beer Festival

It’s hard to believe that GCBF has been around for 25 years and is one of BC’s signature beer festivals.  The fact that we’re mid-August and one of the festival days hasn’t yet sold out is surprising so if you’re planning on heading over to Victoria for the weekend now is the time to get tickets to avoid disappointment.  This year the majority of breweries in attendance will be from BC, though there will still be a few notables from across the country joining in the fun as well.  In addition, the Drake Beer Parlour will be hosing a Cask Tent where they will be serving one-off casks from a few other breweries just to add a bit more spice to the day.  Get your tickets for the festival now.
